Hotfire is procedure execution software for test, build and inspection teams. Every reading is validated against its limits as it is entered, every step is signed by an authorized person, and every action is preserved in a tamper-evident record, with or without a network connection.
Read PT-101 after pressurization is stable.
Test conductor polls every station. The run can't pass this point while a deviation is open.
Performed by the technician, witnessed by quality.
Interactive example: enter a reading above 320 psi to open a deviation. Sample data shown.
The controls of an enterprise procedure platform, in an application technicians can learn in an afternoon.

Built for teams of 2 to 60 people whose work depends on procedures being followed, recorded and signed.
Acceptance testing, build travelers and the traceability that customers and defense audits require.Flight-readiness checks, motor and battery acceptance, final inspection
Test campaigns with holds, go/no-go polls and witnessed steps, executed at the stand without relying on connectivity.Hot fires, pressurization, integration, launch prep
Consistent, signed procedures with faculty oversight. Free for qualifying student teams.CubeSat integration, rocketry launch checklists, lab safety
Repeatable procedures with recorded values, defined limits and documented sign-offs.Calibration procedures, environmental tests, customer test reports
Work cards and inspections signed by authorized personnel, with complete part and serial history.Scheduled maintenance, inspections, return-to-service checks
Work instructions and first-article inspection without the cost of an enterprise system.Assembly travelers, in-process checks, receiving inspection
Define steps, limits, holds and required signatures. A reviewer approves and releases the revision.
Start a run against a serial number. Entries are validated as they are recorded, and steps are signed in sequence.
When a procedure needs correction, the technician submits a redline and an engineer approves it from their own device.
Deviations are dispositioned, the run is closed, and the full record is exported for customers or auditors.
Devices on the same network discover one another and stay synchronized in real time, with no server, internet connection or IT infrastructure required.
Per-user pricing encourages shared logins, which undermines the audit trail. Hotfire is licensed per device, so every technician, inspector and witness has an individual sign-in at no additional cost.

Founding customer program: the first 10 paying organizations receive 40% off their first year in exchange for product feedback and a published case study.
All prices are in US dollars. Monthly billing is 20% higher than annual billing. Conversion of existing procedures is $750 per 10, and remote training is $250 per session.
Hotfire is licensed to organizations only. Licenses are purchased directly from Tycho Systems by invoice or card, not through the App Store. After payment, we complete the customer verification required by US export regulations and issue your license key within one business day.
Leading procedure platforms are priced per user with a 10-user minimum, a model built for large organizations that makes adoption costly for small teams.
Epsilon3 prices are from its public pricing page and its AWS Marketplace listing, checked 26 October 2026: Basic $100 and Pro $200 per user per month, billed yearly with a 10-user minimum (sold on AWS Marketplace as packs of 10 for $12,000 and $24,000 a year). Basic covers up to 50 users. View-only users are free there, so this compares only people who sign. Prices change; check epsilon3.io/pricing.
In the iPad app, your data stays on your devices by default and nothing is transmitted to Tycho Systems. The browser version keeps your records on Hotfire's server in the United States.
Records are stored with AES-256 encryption, using a key held in the iPad's secure Keychain.
Sync traffic is encrypted and authenticated with a key derived from your team code. iPads without it can't join or read anything.
Every action is chained to the one before it with SHA-256. An edited or deleted entry breaks the chain and shows up in the integrity check.
Each person signs with a personal PIN or Face ID. Repeated failed attempts lock the account for progressively longer periods.
Local mode and the on-site server keep controlled technical data within your facility.
At launch we sell only to organizations in the United States, and every customer is screened against US government restricted-party lists.
Hotfire supports the practices behind AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025 and 21 CFR Part 11 (unique signatures, approvals and an audit trail), but it isn't certified or validated for any standard. Its use within your quality system remains your determination. A detailed security overview is available on request.
Before the telescope existed, Tycho Brahe made the most precise astronomical measurements anyone had ever recorded, and he wrote every one of them down. After he died, Johannes Kepler used those records to work out that planets move in ellipses.
Tycho's work mattered because it was precise, recorded, and trustworthy enough for someone else to build on. That is the standard Tycho Systems builds to.
Hotfire is named for the most procedure-driven hour in engineering: an engine lit on the stand, everyone on the procedure, holds called, every reading recorded and every step signed. Most procedures are quieter than that. They deserve the same discipline.
Open Hotfire in any current web browser at app.hotfiresystems.com, with nothing to install. The iPad, iPhone and Mac apps are in beta: testers are invited through Apple TestFlight, and at launch the iPad and iPhone app is a free download from the App Store, activated with your organization's license key. See Get the app.
Any iPad running iPadOS 16 or later. A camera is required only for photo steps; Face ID and Touch ID are optional.
Not on iPad. The iPad app works fully offline, and iPads on the same network synchronize with one another directly. When you want more, an optional hosted company server (Business plan) adds off-site backup and multi-site operation, and an on-site server (Enterprise) keeps everything inside your facility. The browser version runs from app.hotfiresystems.com, so it needs an internet connection.
Your organization purchases an annual license for a set number of iPads and receives a single license key. Enter it on one iPad and team sync distributes it to the rest. New iPads include a 30-day trial. If a license lapses, records remain readable and exportable, and runs in progress can be completed.
No. Hotfire is licensed only to companies, schools and other organizations, for use by their own staff and students.
